Product Information

PureVision® Toric contact lenses (6 pack) are designed to provide clear, consistent vision for people with astigmatism. Made using exclusive AerGel material, these contacts also deliver superior comfort all day.

Features & Benefits

PureVision Toric contacts are monthly disposable lenses. They are indicated for daily wear or extended wear of up to 7 days. Note that not everyone can wear these contacts continuously for a full 7 days. If your eye care professional (ECP) recommends a different wearing schedule, follow their guidance.

As toric lenses, PureVision Toric contacts provide different refractive powers on the vertical and horizontal orientations to correct astigmatism. Their prism-ballast design also keeps them from rotating on the eye.

PureVision Toric contacts are also made using Bausch + Lomb's unique AerGel material, which resists deposit buildup and stays moist all day. This material also allows natural levels of oxygen to reach your eyes so that they stay white, clear, and healthy. PureVision Toric contacts also have an enhanced optical design to reduce aberrations, giving you clearer and sharper vision.

Additionally, PureVision Toric contacts come with a visibility tint and inside-out indicators for easy handling during insertion and removal.

Who They're For

PureVision Toric contacts are a great choice for current soft toric lens wearers who require exceptional visual acuity and comfort with the convenience of monthly disposable lenses.

PureVision Toric contacts are also a great choice for astigmatic spectacle wearers who prefer the convenience of contacts.

Because PureVision Toric contacts are FDA-approved for extended wear, they’re also ideal for astigmatic patients with highly active lifestyles or unpredictable schedules.

Don’t let astigmatism hold you back. Talk to your ECP today about trying PureVision Toric contacts.

About Astigmatism

Astigmatism is a common eye condition in which the cornea of the eye has mismatched curves. Ideally, the eye is shaped like a round ball. When light enters the eye, it bends evenly, giving you a clear view of the object you’re looking at. In people with astigmatism, light gets bent more in one direction than another due to the cornea's mismatched curves. As a result, only a part of the object is in focus. Most people who have astigmatism are born with it, but it’s unclear why this is the case. You can also get astigmatism after an eye injury, an eye disease, or eye surgery. Because astigmatism symptoms develop slowly, it's important to see an ECP if you notice changes in your vision.

PureVision Toric FAQs

How does Bausch + Lomb's unique AerGel material in PureVision Toric contact lenses help with the user's wearing experience?
The AerGel material in PureVision Toric lenses is naturally resistant to protein buildup, helping prevent eye irritation. It also allows plenty of oxygen to reach your eyes, keeping them healthy.

Can you take a nap in PureVision Toric contacts?

Yes, you can nap in PureVision Toric lenses. As PureVision Toric is approved for overnight wear (a full night's sleep), napping in them for a short period of time is not a problem. As always though, make sure you're OK to do so with your ECP even if they are technically approved as every individual's situation is different. Whether sleeping overnight or napping with contacts, this is an environment that reduces the amount of oxygen that reaches your eye, hence the precautions you need to take in terms of choosing the right lens.

How many boxes of PureVision Toric do I need to buy to last 6 months, or 12 months?

You need 1 box(es) of PureVision Toric contacts to last you for 6 months. In order to last you for 12 months, you'll need 2 box(es). These amounts pertain to a single eye, so to cover both eyes, double these amounts.

What PureVision Toric rebates are available?

PureVision Toric contacts are regularly eligible for rebates exclusively on Lens.com. With Lens.com you can qualify for rebates with as few as an order of 4 and sometimes 8 boxes, unlike the 12 or more minimum purchase that's often required at other retailers. Refer to our regularly updated rebate pages or contact lens product pages to see how much the rebate amount is. Rebate offers change from time to time.

Can I use my eyeglass prescription for PureVision Toric contact lenses?

Unfortunately no, you can't use your eyeglass prescription for PureVision Toric lenses. Your eyeglass prescription only has the power part of the contact lens prescription. In addition to the power, the proper base curve (BC) and diameter (DIA) are needed to order contact lenses. Contact lenses come in different sizes and must be fit to your eye by an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist. As a replacement center, we can only sell you contact lenses that you are already wearing successfully. So ultimately eyeglass prescriptions are not the same as a prescription for PureVision Toric contacts. See an ECP/optometrist if you're looking for a contact lens prescription and fitting as a first-time-wearer.

How do I check the status of my PureVision Toric rebates?

You can check the status of your PureVision Toric rebate by going to the Rebate Center in your account, located in the Customer Service menu. If you need further assistance, please contact our Customer Service Department via phone (1-800 LENS.COM, 24/7) or Live Chat.

How long does it take to adjust to wearing PureVision Toric contacts?

Contacts vary from brand to brand in terms of their shape, material, breathability, wetting agents used, and other factors, thus requiring an adjustment period. Rigid/hard lenses can sometimes take longer to adjust to, whereas most contacts in use today employ a soft form of silicone that is typically easy to adjust to.

PureVision Toric contacts have a water content of 36%. The higher the water content in a contact lens, the more oxygen reaches the cornea during lens wear. Not as good as PurVision 2

These are alright and I used to wear them, but a year ago my doctor prescribed me the PurVision2 lenses. These don’t spin as well and are much harder to remove And dry out more quickly. That said, they’re still good lenses. Please start stocking purvision2 lenses!
