Product Information

Proclear® Toric contact lenses (6 pack) provide all-day comfort for people with astigmatism who experience dry eyes due to lens wear. Thanks to CooperVision's exclusive PC Technology™, these toric lenses stay hydrated all day long for a comfortable lens-wearing experience.

Features & Benefits

Proclear Toric contacts are monthly disposable lenses designed to address astigmatism — a common eye condition that causes blurred vision. They are designed to be worn daily for up to 30 days, after which they must be disposed of and replaced with a fresh pair of contacts.

Made by CooperVision, a world leader in toric lenses, the Proclear Toric design provides on-eye stability. As such, you don’t have to worry about your contacts shifting out of place throughout the day.

Proclear Toric contacts are also made with patented PC Technology, which binds water to the lenses so that they stay fresh and comfortable all day long. As such, Proclear Toric contacts are a great choice for astigmatic lens wearers who suffer from dry eyes.

Additionally, Proclear Toric contacts are made of a water-loving hydrogel material called omafilcon A. This material resists protein and debris buildup that would otherwise cause eye irritation.

Who They’re For

Proclear Toric contacts are for people who have vision problems due to astigmatism, and are looking for lenses with advanced features to ensure clarity, stability, and comfort.

Proclear Toric contacts also suit people with astigmatism who experience dry eyes due to lens wear, as well as those who prefer the convenience of a monthly disposable lens. These toric contacts are also ideal for people with astigmatism who have highly active lifestyles, as the Proclear Toric design keeps the lenses stable during wear.

Additionally, Proclear Toric contacts are a great choice for astigmatic spectacle wearers who prefer the convenience of contact lenses.

Don’t let astigmatism stop you from getting contacts. Enjoy clear, stable vision and all-day comfort with Proclear Toric from Lens.com.

About Astigmatism

Astigmatism is a common eye condition in which the cornea of the eye has mismatched curves. Ideally, the eye is shaped like a round ball. When light enters the eye, it bends evenly, giving you a clear view of the object you’re looking at. In people with astigmatism, light gets bent more in one direction than another due to the cornea's mismatched curves. As a result, only a part of the object is in focus. Most people who have astigmatism are born with it, but it’s unclear why this is the case. You can also get astigmatism after an eye injury, an eye disease, or eye surgery. Because astigmatism symptoms develop slowly, it's important to see an ECP if you notice changes in your vision.

Proclear Toric FAQs

How do Proclear Toric contact lenses address dryness and discomfort?
Proclear Toric contact lenses incorporate PC Technology, which attracts and retains moisture on the lens surface. This helps to maintain hydration and provides exceptional comfort for wearers, including those with dry eyes.

How many boxes of Proclear Toric do I need to buy to last 6 months, or 12 months?

You need 1 box(es) of Proclear Toric contacts to last you for 6 months. In order to last you for 12 months, you'll need 2 box(es). These amounts pertain to a single eye, so to cover both eyes, double these amounts.

Can you take a nap in Proclear Toric contacts?

No, you cannot nap in Proclear Toric lenses. As Proclear Toric are not approved for overnight wear (a full night's sleep), napping in them for a short period of time is not advisable either, and it can lead to eye-health complications. Napping for any length of time with contacts not designed for such an environment is risky. Choose a lens that is approved for overnight wear and seek guidance from your ECP if this is a requirement for you.

Where can I buy Proclear Toric contacts at the best price?

Proclear Toric contact lenses are available at the best price online, vs from a brick-and-motor store. When buying these contacts in-store or from a doctor's office, additional costs that come from higher overhead and lower volume of sales may play a part in having to pay more as a customer. On the other hand, online retailers benefit from lower costs and greater reach (greater sales volume, lower prices). At Lens.com Proclear Toric contacts can be purchased for $43.19, after rebates. These prices are designed to be some of the lowest prices you'll find anywhere, either in-store or online.

Are Proclear Toric contacts, monthly?

Yes, Proclear Toric contacts are monthly disposable contacts. They are meant to be worn daily for 30 days, removed, cleaned and stored at night, and disposed of after 30 days to be replaced with a fresh set.

What Proclear Toric rebates are available?

Proclear Toric contacts are regularly eligible for rebates exclusively on Lens.com. With Lens.com you can qualify for rebates with as few as an order of 4 and sometimes 8 boxes, unlike the 12 or more minimum purchase that's often required at other retailers. Refer to our regularly updated rebate pages or contact lens product pages to see how much the rebate amount is. Rebate offers change from time to time.

Do I need a prescription, or a copy of my prescription in order to buy Proclear Toric?

Yes, you do require a valid prescription in order to buy Proclear Toric or any contacts in the United States, per Federal Law. However, at Lens.com having a copy of your prescription in your possession is not required to place an order (though be aware it's something that is owed to you by your ECP once you complete an eye examination so that you can choose where to purchase your contacts). If you don't have a copy in your possession, Lens.com representatives will help verifying your prescription by calling your ECP for you. Provide us with the basic information, sit back, and relax.

What is the water content of Proclear Toric?

Proclear Toric contacts have a water content of 62%. The higher the water content in a contact lens, the more oxygen reaches the cornea during lens wear. There are other factors at play however so water content alone isn't enough of a factor to judge a lens' performance for a given person. High water content lenses can feel comfortable initially but may dry out over time, but this is not always the case. So it's good to know about the water content of a lens, but it's not everything. Consult your ECP to find out the best options for you.

How long does it take to get my Proclear Toric rebate?

After submitting your Proclear Toric rebate forms you can check the status of your rebate by going to Rebate Center. Please allow up to 12 weeks to receive your Lens.com Visa Prepaid Card.

Is ordering Proclear Toric contact lenses online safe?

Yes, all contact lenses, including Proclear Toric ordered from Lens.com are FDA-approved, genuine lenses manufactured by top contact lens brands such as Bausch + Lomb and Alcon, and backed by a money-back guarantee. Order and fulfillment processes adhere to mandates set by US federal law, including the requirement to verify valid prescriptions, without exception. We go above and beyond, by making the experience efficient, easy, and pleasant with 24/7/365 customer service and a money-back guarantee.

How long does it take to adjust to wearing Proclear Toric contacts?

If you're wearing Proclear Toric for the first time, it can take several days to a couple of weeks for you to adjust to wearing them on a daily basis. Contacts vary from brand to brand in terms of their shape, material, breathability, wetting agents used, and other factors, thus requiring an adjustment period. Rigid/hard lenses can sometimes take longer to adjust to, whereas most contacts in use today employ a soft form of silicone that is typically easy to adjust to.

How do I get my Proclear Toric rebate?

To get a Proclear Toric rebate, make a qualifying purchase from Lens.com. After your order ships, access the Rebate Center to print your contact lens rebate form(s). The mailing address is on the rebate form.

Who makes Proclear Toric contacts?

Proclear Toric contacts are made by CooperVision, and sold on Lens.com.

What if I don't have my prescription? Can I still order Proclear Toric contacts?

Yes, you can still order Proclear Toric if you don't have a hard copy of your RX/prescription on hand. As long as you have a valid contact lens prescription (which will be on file at your ECP's) you can still place an order with us at Lens.com. Choose your lens, provide us with the contact info of your ECP and we'll do the rest. If your ECP is unable to respond to our request for the info needed in a timely manner, your lenses will automatically be shipped out to you. This is the process put in place by the FTC to ensure your rights as a consumer.

Can I use my eyeglass prescription for Proclear Toric contact lenses?

Unfortunately no, you can't use your eyeglass prescription for Proclear Toric lenses. Your eyeglass prescription only has the power part of the contact lens prescription. In addition to the power, the proper base curve (BC) and diameter (DIA) are needed to order contact lenses. Contact lenses come in different sizes and must be fit to your eye by an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist. As a replacement center, we can only sell you contact lenses that you are already wearing successfully. So ultimately eyeglass prescriptions are not the same as a prescription for Proclear Toric contacts. See an ECP/optometrist if you're looking for a contact lens prescription and fitting as a first-time-wearer.

How do I check the status of my Proclear Toric rebates?

You can check the status of your Proclear Toric rebate by going to the Rebate Center in your account, located in the Customer Service menu. If you need further assistance, please contact our Customer Service Department via phone (1-800 LENS.COM, 24/7) or Live Chat.

Are Proclear Toric sold on Lens.com authentic? Why is it cheaper than other vendors?

Can I buy Proclear Toric for someone else?

Yes, you can buy Proclear Toric contacts online for someone else, for example a child or someone you're assisting with making a purchase. The same simple steps apply. Like most contacts, including Proclear Toric, they can be worn by teens and potentially pre-teens as well, per the direction of an ECP. In general, there is no fixed minimum age for wearing contacts, as it's a judgment call based on lifestyle habits, budget, and of course your ECP's guidance. Contacts do require care and consistency in usage and maintenance/cleaning and these are the lifestyle factors you should consider when thinking about contacts for a child.

How do I buy Proclear Toric contacts online?

To buy Proclear Toric contacts online, you'll need a credit card, the quantity you want to order, and the name of your eye doctor. That's the bare bones. We can contact your eye doctor to confirm your prescription on your behalf. If you have a physical copy of your prescription, great, then we won't need to contact your eye doctor. it's very simple, and if you have any difficulties, our friendly Customer Service Representatives are here to help. These steps are based on rules laid out by federal policy to protect consumer rights and we take full advantage of them to ensure an easy and timely experience for you.

Are Proclear Toric contacts tinted (aka 'handling tint), for improved visibility?

Yes, Proclear Toric lenses include a light tint to make cleaning (when used with solution), handling, and inserting them easier.

Can I be allergic to Proclear Toric contacts?

Contacts, like Proclear Toric are made of hypoallergenic materials, meaning the contacts themselves don't usually cause an allergic reaction. In most cases, what causes an allergic reaction is a buildup of contaminants on the contacts. If you experience redness, watering, and other symptoms of a possible allergic reaction, remove your contacts immediately and consult your ECP.

Where can I buy Proclear Toric contacts?

Lens.com offers exclusive rebate/rewards savings.

Are online Proclear Toric contact lenses the same as from your eye doctor?

No, Proclear Toric contacts have not been discontinued by CooperVision. They continue to be produced, marketed, and sold on Lens.com.
