Product Information

Proclear EP by CooperVision (same as Biomedics EP) is the first and only lens designed for emerging presbyopes (people who notice signs of presbyopia before age 40). Like multifocal lenses, Proclear EP gives you clear vision at any distance and long-lasting comfort.

Features & Benefits

Proclear EP is a bi-weekly replacement lens designed for daily wear only. It needs to be removed, cleaned, and stored properly every night.

If you’re starting to notice signs of presbyopia, Proclear EP gives you a perfect way to transition to multifocal contact lenses. It provides clear vision at all distances, so you don’t have to squint or hold reading material at arm’s length to see clearly.

Proclear EP also delivers long-lasting comfort and deposit resistance, thanks to CooperVision’s exclusive PC Technology™. This comfort-enhancing technology attracts and maintains moisture to reduce the risk of lens irritation.

Additionally, the Proclear lens material supports bright, healthy eyes by allowing optimal levels of oxygen to reach the cornea. It is tinted for easy handling.

Who They're For

Proclear EP is suitable for people who are beginning to notice signs of presbyopia — an age-related eye condition that makes nearby objects appear blurry. Presbyopia generally begins to appear around age 40, but it can appear as early as age 35 in some people.

Proclear EP is also a great choice for emerging presbyopes who want to get rid of bulky readers or bifocals.

If you’re beginning to notice signs of presbyopia, talk to your eye care professional about trying Proclear EP contact lenses!

Proclear EP (Biomedics EP) FAQs

Can Proclear EP contact lenses be worn for extended periods?
Proclear EP contact lenses are not approved for extended wear.

How many boxes of Proclear EP (Biomedics EP) do I need to buy to last 6 months, or 12 months?

You need 2 box(es) of Proclear EP (Biomedics EP) contacts to last you for 6 months. In order to last you for 12 months, you'll need 4 box(es). These amounts pertain to a single eye, so to cover both eyes, double these amounts.

In addition to the power, the proper base curve (BC) and diameter (DIA) are needed to order contact lenses. Contact lenses come in different sizes and must be fit to your eye by an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist. As a replacement center, we can only sell you contact lenses that you are already wearing successfully. Love Them!!

This is my first experience wearing contacts and the Proclear EPs are awesome! I'm nearing the dreaded 40 and right on time... I noticed a change in my vision. After wearing glasses for a few months and not enjoying it very much, I went back to my Dr. and inquired about contacts. We discussed several options and decided that these may be the best option. As soon as I got them in, I felt like I had my normal vision back!! I had progressive lenses in my glasses and they drove me crazy! I wear my contacts all day without any discomfort!!!
