Proclear 1-Day contacts are made with PC Technology. This exclusive technology creates a unique lens material in which phosphorylcholine (PC) molecules attract and bind water to the surface of the lens. The result is a moisture “shield” that keeps the lens clean and functioning properly all day. The PC molecules also help keep the lens hydrated, even after 12 hours of wear.

Proclear 1-Day contacts also help maintain oxygen flow to keep your eyes white, clear, and healthy-looking. On top of that, these contacts feature an aspheric optical design. Unlike traditional contact lenses (which have an even curvature over the entire surface), an aspheric lens has varying amounts of curvature on different areas of the lens. This design better focuses the light entering the eye. The result is crisp, clear vision for the wearer.

PC Tech uses an advanced molecular structure in the lens material to create a shield of water that promotes hydration and comfort, while allowing sufficient oxygen to the eye.

Who They’re For

Proclear 1-Day contacts are a great option for contact lens wearers who have suffered from dry eyes or irritation from wearing other brands. These exceptionally comfortable contacts are also ideal for anyone who prefers the convenience of a daily disposable lens.

Proclear 1-Day contacts are also great for people with nearsightedness or farsightedness. That said, they’re also a great choice for anyone in need of vision correction.

Focus on life and not on your contacts with Proclear 1-Day from Lens.com.

How To Put In Proclear 1-Day

Proclear 1-Day contacts are soft disposable lenses and as such, you should follow the standard procedure for that type of lens. Start by washing your hands with a mild soap, then dry them with a lint-free towel. Scoop your first lens out of the case with your index finger of your dominant hand. Rinse it with a cleaning solution that’s specially formulated for soft contacts. Inspect the lens for any tears or debris, and make sure it’s not inside-out. Using the middle finger of your dominant hand, pull down your lower eyelid. If necessary, use the middle finger of your non-dominant hand to pull your upper eyelid. Look upward and gently put the lens on your eye. Blink a few times to center the lens. Repeat this with the other lens. If Proclear 1-Day contacts are inserted properly, your vision should be clear and your eyes should feel comfortable all day.

Proclear 1 Day FAQs

Are Proclear 1 Day contact lenses suitable for individuals with allergies?
Yes, Proclear 1 Day contact lenses are made using hydrogel, a biocompatible material which contains a large amount of water making them ideal for those with allergies or sensitive eyes. Their PC Technology also helps maintain moisture on the lens surfaces.

Can you take a nap in Proclear 1 Day contacts?

No, you cannot nap in Proclear 1 Day lenses. As Proclear 1 Day are not approved for overnight wear (a full night's sleep), napping in them for a short period of time is not advisable either, and it can lead to eye-health complications. Napping for any length of time with contacts not designed for such an environment is risky. Choose a lens that is approved for overnight wear and seek guidance from your ECP if this is a requirement for you.

How many boxes of Proclear 1 Day do I need to buy to last 6 months, or 12 months?

You need 2 box(es) of Proclear 1 Day contacts to last you for 6 months. In order to last you for 12 months, you'll need 4 box(es). These amounts pertain to a single eye, so to cover both eyes, double these amounts.

How many lenses are in a box of Proclear 1 Day contacts?

1 box of Proclear 1 Day lenses contains 90 lenses, a 3-month supply of contacts. 1 box, per eye, last you for a period of 3 month(s).

What if I don't have my prescription? Can I still order Proclear 1 Day contacts?

Yes, you can still order Proclear 1 Day if you don't have a hard copy of your RX/prescription on hand. Choose your lens, provide us with the contact info of your ECP and we'll do the rest. If your ECP is unable to respond to our request for the info needed in a timely manner, your lenses will automatically be shipped out to you. This is the process put in place by the FTC to ensure your rights as a consumer.

Where can I buy Proclear 1 Day contacts at the best price?

Proclear 1 Day contact lenses are available at the best price online, vs from a brick-and-motor store. When buying these contacts in-store or from a doctor's office, additional costs that come from higher overhead and lower volume of sales may play a part in having to pay more as a customer. On the other hand, online retailers benefit from lower costs and greater reach (greater sales volume, lower prices). At Lens.com Proclear 1 Day contacts can be purchased for $19.54, after rebates. These prices are designed to be some of the lowest prices you'll find anywhere, either in-store or online.

Can I use my eyeglass prescription for Proclear 1 Day contact lenses?

Unfortunately no, you can't use your eyeglass prescription for Proclear 1 Day lenses. Your eyeglass prescription only has the power part of the contact lens prescription. In addition to the power, the proper base curve (BC) and diameter (DIA) are needed to order contact lenses. Contact lenses come in different sizes and must be fit to your eye by an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist. As a replacement center, we can only sell you contact lenses that you are already wearing successfully. So ultimately eyeglass prescriptions are not the same as a prescription for Proclear 1 Day contacts. See an ECP/optometrist if you're looking for a contact lens prescription and fitting as a first-time-wearer.

Is Proclear 1 Day contact lens FDA-approved?

Yes, Proclear 1 Day is FDA-approved. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration regulates all contact lenses as prescription medical devices and thus must go through an approval process, after which they can be legally sold in the US (if approved). Lens.com sells only FDA-approved contact lenses. From lenses to address near, farsightedness, astigmatism, and even cosmetic lenses, our inventory consists only of FDA-approved contacts.

Does Proclear 1 Day have a rebate?

Rebates can be available from the manufacturer or directly from retailers. Lens.com typically offers rebates for Proclear 1 Day as it is a popular content lens. At Lens.com you need to purchase only 4 to 8 boxes of contacts (2/4 per eye) in order to qualify for some of the highest-value rebates in the industry.

How do I check the status of my Proclear 1 Day rebates?

What is the water content of Proclear 1 Day?

Proclear 1 Day contacts have a water content of 60%. The higher the water content in a contact lens, the more oxygen reaches the cornea during lens wear. There are other factors at play however so water content alone isn't enough of a factor to judge a lens' performance for a given person. High water content lenses can feel comfortable initially but may dry out over time, but this is not always the case. So it's good to know about the water content of a lens, but it's not everything. Consult your ECP to find out the best options for you.

Harder to Find

These Proclear lenses are much more comfortable to wear than some of the newer silicone hydrogel lenses (despite the trend). But the Proclears are becoming much harder to find. Please dont stop carrying them!
