Product Information

Enjoy that "new lens" feeling every day with Dailies® AquaComfort Plus® by Alcon (90 PK). Featuring Blink-Activated Moisture technology, these daily disposable contacts provide exceptional comfort from the moment you put them in, to the moment you throw them away at the end of the day.

Features & Benefits

Dailies AquaComfort Plus are daily disposable contacts. This means each pair of these contacts should only be worn for one day, after which they should be removed and discarded. Simply wear a fresh pair of contacts the next morning.

The only brand to offer Blink-Activated Moisture technology, Dailies AquaComfort Plus provides refreshing comfort all day by releasing polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) — a water-soluble synthetic polymer used to relieve dry, irritated eyes — with each blink.

Dailies AquaComfort Plus are also very comfortable because they’re made of nelfilcon A. This hydrogel lens material has a high water content (69%), which allows more oxygen to pass through the lens. This helps keep the eyes moist, clear, and comfortable all day.

Each pair of Dailies AquaComfort Plus contacts are visibly tinted so that you can easily spot them in your contact lens case. Plus, Lens.com's unbeatable rebate offer means you can get these contacts for the lowest price possible.

Product Update: DAILIES AquaComfort PLUS in 2024

15 years on these are still a top 10 seller on Lens.com. Probably the best consensus advantage of these lenses amongst our users is that they're favored by those who dislike the sensation of contacts in their eyes, as they're relatively thin and can go unnoticed once worn. If that appeals to you, these may be great for your day-to-day experience. Also worth noting, is these lenses continue to be mid-priced while the cost of other brands has crept up in recent years. On the downside they still lack a UV rating in 2024, a feature that's become more commonplace in the market.

Who They’re For

Dailies AquaComfort Plus contact lenses are ideal for anyone new to wearing contacts because they’re remarkably comfortable. They also help establish great lens-wearing habits.

These single-use lenses are also a great option for contact lens wearers who don’t enjoy the hassle of a lens care routine. Simply remove and discard these contacts at the end of the day and wear a fresh pair the next morning.

Dailies AquaComfort Plus contacts are also recommended for people with nearsightedness (myopia) or farsightedness (hyperopia) because they come in a variety of lens powers.

Enjoy refreshing comfort with every blink with Dailies AquaComfort Plus. Take advantage of our discount prices by ordering Dailies AquaComfort Plus and other top contacts from Lens.com today!

How To Put In Dailies AquaComfort Plus

Dailies AquaComfort Plus are soft disposable contacts and as such, you should follow the standard procedure for that type of lens. Start by washing your hands with a mild soap, then dry them with a lint-free towel. Scoop your first lens out of the case with your index finger of your dominant hand. Rinse it with a cleaning solution that’s specially formulated for soft contacts. Inspect the lens for any tears or debris, and make sure it’s not inside-out. Using the middle finger of your dominant hand, pull down your lower eyelid. If necessary, use the middle finger of your non-dominant hand to pull your upper eyelid. Look upward and gently put the lens on your eye. Blink a few times to center the lens. Repeat this with the other lens. If Dailies AquaComfort Plus contact lenses are inserted properly, your vision should be clear and your eyes should feel comfortable all day.

Dailies AquaComfort Plus FAQs

How does Dailies Aquacomfort Plus compare to Acuvue Oasys?
These are 2 really popular lenses but they're also quite different intended for different wearers. Aquacomfort Plus is a daily disposable lens, designed for uses not wanting to deal with cleaning and storing lenses overnight. As dailies though it's one of the most affordable and comfortable product on the market. Acuvue Oasys is a compelling product for wearers thanks to its 2-week replacement schedule (resulting in even lower costs) and its ability for them to be worn overnight (which isn't an option with dailies). If you need a 2-week lens with the option of wearing overnight, then Acuvue is a top option. If you want a good daily lens that won't break the bank, look into Dailies Aquacomfort Plus.

Can you take a nap in Dailies AquaComfort Plus contacts?

No, you cannot nap in Dailies AquaComfort Plus lenses. As Dailies AquaComfort Plus are not approved for overnight wear (a full night's sleep), napping in them for a short period of time is not advisable either, and it can lead to eye-health complications. Napping for any length of time with contacts not designed for such an environment is risky. Choose a lens that is approved for overnight wear and seek guidance from your ECP if this is a requirement for you.

How should I properly dispose of Dailies AquaComfort Plus lenses?
Dailies AquaComfort Plus lenses should be disposed of after each use. Remove the lens from your eye and discard it in a waste bin. Do not attempt to reuse daily disposable lenses.

Where can I buy Dailies AquaComfort Plus contacts at the best price?

Dailies AquaComfort Plus contact lenses are available at the best price online, vs from a brick-and-motor store. When buying these contacts in-store or from a doctor's office, additional costs that come from higher overhead and lower volume of sales may play a part in having to pay more as a customer. On the other hand, online retailers benefit from lower costs and greater reach (greater sales volume, lower prices). At Lens.com Dailies AquaComfort Plus contacts can be purchased for $19.49, after rebates. These prices are designed to be some of the lowest prices you'll find anywhere, either in-store or online.

Are Dailies AquaComfort Plus contact lenses more comfortable than 1-Day Acuvue Moist contact lenses?

While both brands are known for their comfort and reliability, they employ different technologies and materials to enhance wearing comfort. Dailies AquaComfort Plus uses LightStream Technology to keep the lens hydrated with an 80% water content, making it ideal for hours of wear. On the other hand, 1-Day Acuvue Moist ensures hydration through LACREON Technology, although it has a slightly lower water content compared to Dailies AquaComfort Plus.

How do I check the status of my Dailies AquaComfort Plus rebates?

You can check the status of your Dailies AquaComfort Plus rebate by going to the Rebate Center in your account, located in the Customer Service menu. If you need further assistance, please contact our Customer Service Department via phone (1-800 LENS.COM, 24/7) or Live Chat.

Are Dailies AquaComfort Plus contacts tinted (aka 'handling tint), for improved visibility?

Yes, Dailies AquaComfort Plus lenses include a light tint to make cleaning (when used with solution), handling, and inserting them easier.

How do I claim my Dailies AquaComfort Plus rebate?

In order to redeem your Dailies AquaComfort Plus rebate, follow these 3 easy steps: log on to the Lens.com rebate center, print and mail your rebate form, track your rebate status, and get your prepaid Visa card in the mail.

Is ordering Dailies AquaComfort Plus contact lenses online safe?

Yes, all contact lenses, including Dailies AquaComfort Plus ordered from Lens.com are FDA-approved, genuine lenses manufactured by top contact lens brands such as Bausch + Lomb and Alcon, and backed by a money-back guarantee. We go above and beyond, by making the experience efficient, easy, and pleasant with 24/7/365 customer service and a money-back guarantee.

How long does it take to adjust to wearing Dailies AquaComfort Plus contacts?

If you're wearing Dailies AquaComfort Plus for the first time, it can take several days to a couple of weeks for you to adjust to wearing them on a daily basis. Contacts vary from brand to brand in terms of their shape, material, breathability, wetting agents used, and other factors, thus requiring an adjustment period. Rigid/hard lenses can sometimes take longer to adjust to, whereas most contacts in use today employ a soft form of silicone that is typically easy to adjust to.

What if I don't have my prescription? Can I still order Dailies AquaComfort Plus contacts?

Yes, you can still order Dailies AquaComfort Plus if you don't have a hard copy of your RX/prescription on hand. As long as you have a valid contact lens prescription (which will be on file at your ECP's) you can still place an order with us at Lens.com. Choose your lens, provide us with the contact info of your ECP and we'll do the rest. If your ECP is unable to respond to our request for the info needed in a timely manner, your lenses will automatically be shipped out to you. This is the process put in place by the FTC to ensure your rights as a consumer.

What Dailies AquaComfort Plus rebates are available?

Dailies AquaComfort Plus contacts are regularly eligible for rebates exclusively on Lens.com. With Lens.com you can qualify for rebates with as few as an order of 4 and sometimes 8 boxes, unlike the 12 or more minimum purchase that's often required at other retailers. Refer to our regularly updated rebate pages or contact lens product pages to see how much the rebate amount is. Rebate offers change from time to time.

Is Dailies AquaComfort Plus contact lens FDA-approved?

Yes, Dailies AquaComfort Plus is FDA-approved. Lens.com sells only FDA-approved contact lenses. From lenses to address near, farsightedness, astigmatism, and even cosmetic lenses, our inventory consists only of FDA-approved contacts.

Can I use my eyeglass prescription for Dailies AquaComfort Plus contact lenses?

Unfortunately no, you can't use your eyeglass prescription for Dailies AquaComfort Plus lenses. Your eyeglass prescription only has the power part of the contact lens prescription. In addition to the power, the proper base curve (BC) and diameter (DIA) are needed to order contact lenses. Contact lenses come in different sizes and must be fit to your eye by an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist. As a replacement center, we can only sell you contact lenses that you are already wearing successfully. So ultimately eyeglass prescriptions are not the same as a prescription for Dailies AquaComfort Plus contacts. See an ECP/optometrist if you're looking for a contact lens prescription and fitting as a first-time-wearer.

How old do you have to be to wear Dailies AquaComfort Plus contact lenses?

Like most contacts, including Dailies AquaComfort Plus, they can be worn by teens and potentially pre-teens as well, per the direction of an ECP. In general, there is no fixed minimum age for wearing contacts, as it's a judgment call based on lifestyle habits, budget, and of course your ECP's guidance. Contacts do require care and consistency in usage and maintenance/cleaning and these are the lifestyle factors you should consider when thinking about contacts for a child.

Are Dailies AquaComfort Plus sold on Lens.com authentic? Why is it cheaper than other vendors?

Yes, all contacts sold on Lens.com are 100% authentic, including Dailies AquaComfort Plus and come with a money-back guarantee. Lens.com is able to sell contacts extremely competitively by buying and selling in volume, by smartly managing costs and overhead, and by accepting smaller but fairer profit margins versus other e-tailers and ECPs in exchange for building a satisfied customer base. We stand by our product and offer 24/7 live-customer support.

Do I need an rx/prescription to buy Dailies AquaComfort Plus contacts online?

I forget I’m wearing contacts!

These contacts slide right into place and instantly ‘disappear’ so I can’t feel them at all. Great for camping- I just toss them every night and insert a fresh pair every morning. No cleaning, no chemicals, no overnight storage. As a bonus, I can slice up a ton of onions for French Onion Soup without any crying! These contacts protect my eyes like safety goggles when it comes to chopping onions!
