Features & Benefits

Air Optix Colors are monthly disposable contacts that provide superior, reliable comfort from day 1 to 30, after which they must be removed, disposed of, and replaced with a fresh pair.

These contacts give you a stunning yet completely natural effect, thanks to Alcon's innovative 3-in-1 Color Technology. This technology features an inner ring for brightness and depth, a primary color for eye color enhancement, and an outer ring for definition.

Featuring unique SmartShield® Technology, Air Optix Colors retain a level of moistness for consistent comfort. This technology also helps protect the lens from irritating surface deposits. Plus, it helps the lens resist changes from daily use of cosmetic products.

Air Optix Colors are also remarkably comfortable because they’re made of lotrafilcon B — a silicone hydrogel material with 33% water content. Silicone hydrogel contacts allow plenty of oxygen to reach the eyes so that they stay clear, white, and healthy-looking.

With subtle and vibrant enhancements for both light and dark eye colors, Air Optix Colors have an option for everyone.

Who They’re For

Air Optix Colors are a great option for people who want to subtly enhance their natural eye color. They're also ideal for people who prefer the convenience of monthly disposable contacts.

Additionally, these highly breathable contacts are a great option for anyone looking for vision correction, aesthetic enhancement, and comfort in one contact lens.

Ready to enhance your natural eye color with Air Optix Colors contact lenses? Visit your eye care professional to see if these contacts are right for you. When you’re ready to try them for yourself, be sure to check out the lowest prices on contact lenses at Lens.com.

How To Put In Air Optix Colors

Air Optix Colors are soft disposable contacts and as such, you should follow the standard procedure for that type of lens. Start by washing your hands with mild soap, then dry them with a lint-free towel. Scoop your first lens out of the case with your index finger of your dominant hand. Rinse it with a cleaning solution that’s specially formulated for soft contacts. Inspect the lens for any tears or debris, and make sure it’s not inside-out. Using the middle finger of your dominant hand, pull down your lower eyelid. If necessary, use the middle finger of your non-dominant hand to pull your upper eyelid. Look upward and gently put the lens on your eye. Blink a few times to center the lens. Repeat this with the other lens. If Air Optix Colors are inserted properly, your eyes should feel comfortable and your vision should be clear.

Air Optix Colors FAQs

Can you take a nap in Air Optix Colors contacts?

No, you cannot nap in Air Optix Colors lenses. As Air Optix Colors are not approved for overnight wear (a full night's sleep), napping in them for a short period of time is not advisable either, and it can lead to eye-health complications. Napping for any length of time with contacts not designed for such an environment is risky. Choose a lens that is approved for overnight wear and seek guidance from your ECP if this is a requirement for you.

As a replacement center, we can only sell you contact lenses that you are already wearing successfully. Air Optix Colors contacts have a water content of 33%. The higher the water content in a contact lens, the more oxygen reaches the cornea during lens wear. Consult your ECP to find out the best options for you.

Contacts, like Air Optix Colors are made of hypoallergenic materials, meaning the contacts themselves don't usually cause an allergic reaction. Is Air Optix Colors discontinued?

No, Air Optix Colors contacts have not been discontinued by Alcon. They continue to be produced, marketed, and sold on Lens.com. Typically, if a contact lens ceases to be produced by the manufacturer, we will indicate it clearly on our product page as being a discontinued lens and it won't be an option to purchase them.

How should I store my Air Optix Colors contact lenses?

Daily disposable contacts cannot be stored and must be discarded at the end of each day. Even if you wear them for only a few hours one day, you still need to discard them after that use and wear a fresh pair of contacts the next day.

You may keep weekly contacts in multi-purpose contact solution in a tightly closed contact lens case for up to 2 weeks.
